Battery Drain While Sleeping - What would be "normal"

I had (still have but son using it now) a 2013 MacAir. On that machine, I would be at 100% battery, shut the lid, and 12-14 hours later, it was still at 100%, with the occasional move to 99%. 48-72 hours it might have dropped 5%. Just loved how slow the drain on that was when sleeping.

I have 2016 MacBook and under almost same circumstances and timeframe, I'm losing 5-6%.

I'm wondering if that is just normal for this device? What would or should the average battery drain be when sleeping over a 12 hour period? Anyone with any similar experiences? I am not complaining really, just curious if this was normal?

I had lost 10-12% over the same period but solves that problem last week thanks to a contributor to these forums.

To answer the question however,

Battery life varies by use and configuration; see www.apple.com/batteries for more information.

Again, congratulations! Enjoy that new machine!
